The end is almost here...

This
is the second to the last episode of Paradise Hotel.
A two hour episode. The show has been very interesting
and has taken a more level headed approach to the game.
The end is near. But what is that ultimate prize thang???

As
we tune in Charla is talking to the camera. She can’t
believe her and Dave have made it this far. Will they
be this lucky next time “I doubt it” she
says laughing. “I know I am not going to win this
game. I think Amy is going to win this game”.
We are reminded tat Beau has departed. Amy tells us
each week gets more difficult.
Amy
is ragging on Dave. She is trying to turn Scott on
Dave. She is
telling Dave that Beau told her that Dave
wanted to send Scott home. Dave said lf that was true
he WOULD have sent Scott home. Dave turns it on Amy and
asks if she’d be happier if Dave had sent Scott
home instead. She worms her way into an insult and is
telling Dave that she is yelling at him. What a byoch
that Amy is. Slimey and sleazy. She storms off in a tiff.
We see Dave walking away flipping a bird.
Charla
and Dave conspire to throw Tara a surprise party as
it is her birthday.
We see Tara
and Keith chatting on the bed. Keith says “I
just want to kick everyone else off before me – that’s
how you win right?”
Dave
approaches Charla and asks her if she wants to hear
his song for
Tara’s birthday and starts singing
it. Charla’s contorted face gestures is worth the
price of admission for this episode alone. Hilarious!
She is struggling to hold back her laughter. That Dave
sure is a dufus, but an entertaining one. She stops him
before he is finished. That apparently hurt Dave, but
Charla would never notice.
Preps for
Tara’s bday party. Apparently Scott
is sick.
SURPRISE! Tara is surprised. Dave and Keith sing the
song to Tara. Ultra cheese. She unwraps Barbie gifts.
They all seem happy. Tara was cheered up. Sexy disco
moves. Amy is there but is just a lump on the couch.
A belly dancer
delivers a note advising them of a costume ball and
a Pandora’s box session. Costumes arrive.
The
Arabian themed party ensues. Keith is upset because
they got too close to him with the snake. Keith says
he has a phobia. Charla gets up close with the snake
to show Keith she is the bomb. Charla looks like a slut
with all that make up. I mean that in a good way. Bad
belly dancing ensues.
Pandora’s
Box time.
Charla gets asked by Scott if she seduced any of the
guys here and if she got turned down. Charla says she
tried to seduce Scott and that she got turned down.
Dave worms
around a question by saying he took out Beau because
Scot and Keith would be more likely to watch
his and Charla’s back than Amy and Beau. Keith
asks Scott if he thinks there was any chance that Dave
would take out Scott before himself. Scott says no. Dave
says. Well I would. Keith doesn’t seem happy. Dave
says he has no idea what he would do if he was confronted
with choosing between Scott and Keith.
Tara and Keith in private start ragging on Dave. Tension
is mounting.
Dave talks
to Keith at the pool. Keith says Dave said what he
said to save face and that was OK because he
is here to “win this fu*king game.” followed
by laughs. You can tell that it just aint right between
the two. But hey – it is getting near the end of
the game, right? It’s only natural that they’d
have to start looking out for themselves.
Politics. Everyone thinks they will be checking out.
Tara and Charla practice their exits... in a fun way.
Amy however is getting weepy and rags on Charla and
Tara.
Tension between Scott and Holly.
Amanda comes out for elimination time.
The
girls will lose a guest. They must pick a gent for
a roommate. The FINAL roommate selection. The one without
a roomie will be going home.
Amy gets to go first... who will she pick... she picks
Keith. Ironic she selected Keith. That means she will
get the boot, bar any twists and turns.
Charla picks Dave as her final roommate. She wants to
be with him till the end... at least till the end of
the show that is.
Tara picks Keith. That sappy music plays as they show
Tara and Keith flashbacks.
Keith will have to make a decision.
Holly selects Scott. Bad argument flashbacks.
OK Keith it is time.... He selects Tara over Amy.
Amanda consoles Amy. It looks like no twists. Bad Amy
flashbacks. Zack haunts us some more. Maybe she will
finally get the boot. More bad Amy flashbacks.
Goodbye Amy. She must go and check out. Hoooorayyyy!!!
Insincere hugs and kisses. Even a hug with Keith. More
bad flashbacks. Good riddance!
Amanda
announces that at the next elimination ceremony one
more couple will go home. But there is a twist. One
of the SIX remaining guests will be given the power to
boot one more couple.
The final six celebrate together. Holly, Scott, Dave,
Charla, Tara and Keith remain.
They get a note that the next day they will get up early
and go on an excursion.
They all start scheming. How will the game be played
out.
Keith approaches Scott. He plays the Dave card. He tells
SCott that Dave was being dishonest saying he would boot
either Scott or himself. Scott says he knows. Dave joins
them. He notes the tension.
Dave and Keith are starting to play each other.
It’s
excursion time... hour two which looked like a separate
episode continues this two hour marathon.
Separate excursions. Tara and Scott. Charla and Keith.
Dave and Holly.
Switch time... Charla and Scott. Tara and Dave. Keith
and Holly.
Keith and
Holly are in the tub. They talk politics and kaboom – Holly doesn’t
buy Keith's words and gets into a hysterical Holly
screechy moment. The others
hear them yelling and try to listen in. Bad banshee flashbacks.
Back the next day at the blotel. The boys talk over
the previous days events.
Butler dudes deliver letters.
Dear Guests – tonight will be the final Pandora’s
Box and one couple will be leaving tonight.
More politics.
Dave
gets cornered by Tara and Keith. Keith wants Dave to
go to Scott and admit he lied. Bad blood is boiling
between them.
The
tension is mounting. Alliances crumble as the final
elimination nears. All good things must come to an end
and he ultimate prize will be revealed.... eventually...
More politics. Discussions and flashbacks ensue.
Keith approaches
Scott and tries to get him to go against Dave. Scott
reinforces Keith’s recent distaste
for Dave. Scott revealed that Dave told Holly and Scott
that they were “safe”. Tara says “I’m
done with Dave – he is such a liar”.
Dave and Keith
are at the bar. Dave is surprised that Keith has been
getting insulting. He apologizes. Dave
says he can’t handle it and ends the discussion.
He storms off.
They can’t see it but if they just stuck with
each other as planned they would make it to the end – both
of them. But the frictions is pulling them both into
limbo. Scott now has a chance.
It’s Pandora’s
Box time.
I’ll
skip the details. It is all predictable.
At the end
of Pandora’s Box host Amanda tells
the remaining six she will give them an hour to decide
who they will vote for to have the power to eliminate
a couple. They must vote for one person.
It’s
getting rough. Feelings are getting in the way of rational
thinking.
The
three remaining couples scheme to stay in Paradise.
Holly and
Scott don’t think they will get any votes.
Scott tells Holly to have a little faith.
Scott approaches
Keith and Tara and tells them that he and Holly will
be voting for them to have the power.
He reminds them to keep in mind what they talked about – “that’s
all I ask”. His last plea.
Keith
whispers to Tara “because of that one conversation
that everything is turned around” referring to
Dave’s dishonesty. Hmmm... tension mounts because
it seems like their is a chance that Tara and Keith could
go with Holly and SCott over Dave and Charla.... nahhh...
but hey – it be a TV show... there has to be some
indecision or it wouldn’t be exciting – right?
I
think in the end Keith will be honorable and despite
his sour feelings for Dave will stand by his words to
go all the way with them.... But we;ll just have tow
wait and see....
Keith later
goes to talk to Scott and Holly as Tara goes to Dave
and Charla. Keith tells Scott he isn’t
sure that he can vote Dave and Charla off. Scott makes
him feel guilty by saying that everything you do as a
man is at risk. He tells Keith he won’t be able
to sleep as Dave has fuc*ed him over. Keith is buying
into it – but just a little. Deep down Keith knows
his true allies have been Dave and Charla. It’s
just the last minute scheming that Keith has had trouble
with. And Scott plays him for it.
Scott’s last minute plea for Keith to take a stand
was pretty good – but was it good enough? I don’t
think so...
Dave is alone.
He is quiet. Sappy music plays as Charla asks Dave
what he is thinking. Charla probes if he is
taking it out on her. Tense moments. Dave is depressed.
He talks but doesn’t make much sense. He says he
was rejected by Charla. She says he was not rejected
by her. He is obviously hurting. Charla cuts him short
and says she doesn’t wanna get into it. She says
she hasn’t projected anything but friendship towards
Dave. UH OH – the f word. FRIENDSHIP... not the
best time to bring that word out... If you wanna hurt
a guy say that word....
The gang is
now confronting Dave... All of them with Tara doing
the talking. Dave is obviously looking like
his head is ready to explode... Tara asks why Dave told
Holly that he would choose her... Holly reinforces that
he said that. Dave tries to weasel out of it saying he
did not say that.... Tempers flair. Dave tries to convince
Keith and Tara not to get swayed by Holly and Scott’s
last ditch efforts.
Poor Dave is in quite a situation. It looks as if Keith
could actually be buying the crap from Holly and Scott...
but then again it could just be Paradise Hotel theatrics...
It’s
time to reveal who got the votes to have the power.
It seems pretty obvious it will be Kieth.
Host
Amanda appears and tells them it is time to determine
which couple will be leaving paradise... but first who
will get the votes to have the power...
The votes.... Keith votes for Charla. Dave votes for
Keith. Scott votes for Keith. Tara votes for Charla.
Charla votes for Keith. Holly votes for Keith.
Amanda asks Keith to join her.
Keith says the power does not make him feel good.
Amanda tells Keith he now has the power to decide which
couple he will send home tonight.
He and Tara
will be safe.... but who will it be – Dave
and Charla or Scott and Holly.
Host Amanda asks Keith if he has made his decision...
Keith is uncomfortable and desn;t really say anything...
ummmm...
Keith says “we knew this day was going to happen – 2
people are going home – ummmm... I’m twisted...
a lot of things are going on...” “O wish
we could just sit down and talk but we can’t we
don’t have enough time...”
Cliffhanger..
slow motion as Keith rolls his eyes.... OH NO! They’re
making us wait till the 2 hour season finale!
Oh well... we have some time to gossip.
